How and when do I get paid?
Your earnings are paid out automatically every week to your mobile money wallet or bank account. If you’d rather not wait, you can cash out available earnings instantly for a small fee.
What fees or commission does Houselewa take?
Joining is free and there are no monthly fees. Houselewa keeps a transparent percentage of each booking, which you always see before you accept it. Everything else is yours.
How long does approval take?
Most profiles are reviewed within a couple of business days once you’ve submitted your ID and credentials. We’ll notify you as soon as you’re verified and ready to accept bookings.
What equipment do I need to teach?
For online lessons, a smartphone or computer with a camera and a reliable internet connection is enough — the video, whiteboard and notes tools are all built into Houselewa. For in-home lessons you simply travel to the student.
Can I set my own rate?
