About wandie

My teaching style is patient, interactive, and student-centered. I break down difficult concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations and use practical examples to connect learning to everyday life. I encourage students to ask questions, participate actively, and learn at their own pace. My goal is to build understanding, confidence, and independent learning skills rather than simply memorizing facts.

I work best with primary and secondary school students who want to strengthen their academic foundation, improve their grades, prepare for examinations, or better understand challenging topics. I support primary school learners across all subjects and secondary school students in Biology, Chemistry, and ICT. I am especially happy to help students who need extra explanation, encouragement, and step-by-step guidance.

During our first lesson, I get to know the student, their academic goals, current level, and the topics they find challenging. I ask a few questions to assess their understanding, then explain a suitable topic using clear examples and simple steps. We practice together, review any difficulties, and agree on what to focus on in future lessons. My aim is to make the student feel comfortable, supported, and motivated to learn.
